20CrMnTi Low noise High temperature Sewing Machine Gears in China 

Sewing machine gears are core precision transmission components for all industrial and household sewing machines, including spur gears, helical gears, bevel gears, eccentric gears, duplex gears, feed gears, hook gears, etc. They fit flat-bed, double-needle, high-head, zigzag, buttonholing, tacking and other machines. Made of 45# steel, 40Cr, 20CrMnTi, 42CrMo with quenching & tempering + induction/carburizing hardening, they feature high precision, low noise, wear resistance, impact resistance, high torque and long service life. They transmit power and distribute motion for main shaft, upper/lower shaft, hook, feed dog, thread take-up, presser foot lift, thread trimming, directly determining stitch stability, synchronization accuracy, low breakage rate and machine durability. They are the “transmission heart” and key wearing parts of sewing machines.

  • Pre-heat treatment: Normalization/annealing eliminates forging stress, improves machinability.
  • CNC finish turning: Precision turning of OD, ID, end face, concentricity ≤0.02mm, runout ≤0.01mm.
  • Gear hobbing/milling/shaping: Specialized machines process teeth; bevel gears use spiral cutters, hook helical gears use spiral hobs.
  • Chamfering & deburring: Tooth end chamfering & polishing, reduce noise & scratching.
