20CrMnTi High Precision Ultra-high Positioning Rotary Platform Gear

Rotary platform gears include precision hollow platform hypoid/helical gear sets and slewing ring gears(internal/external tooth). Consisting of driving pinion and large ring gear, they are core transmission parts for hollow rotary reducer, CNC indexing table and slew drive. Main raw materials: 42CrMo,20CrMnTi,40Cr, finished via carburizing/induction hardening & precision gear grinding with ISO5~7 accuracy grade. It amplifies output torque via gear reduction, equipped with cross roller bearing for load support, realizing high-precision indexing, continuous rotation and fixed positioning. Precision type for automation, robot joint, 4th CNC axis; heavy-duty ring gear for construction machinery, solar tracker, radar base and lifting equipment.

Working Principle

  • Precision hypoid hollow platform: Servo/stepper motor drives input pinion, 90° cross meshing with large hypoid ring gear for single-stage reduction & torque amplification; ring gear together with turntable and cross roller bearing rotates circumferentially for arbitrary precision indexing.
  • Slewing ring gear: Driving pinion meshes internal/external ring gear, pinion rotates and walks along ring tooth to drive relative rotation of inner/outer slew ring. Internal tooth: inner ring geared, outer ring rotating; External tooth: outer ring geared, inner ring fixed; slew bearing bears axial, radial and tilting moment.
  • Self-locking: Matched with servo brake/worm gear, gear self-lock after stop to avoid reverse rotation and load drop.
