Our Cylindrical Helical Gears are designed for high-performance parallel-axis power transmission. Unlike standard spur gears, the teeth of a helical gear are cut at an angle (helix angle) to the axis of rotation. This design ensures that the teeth engage gradually, resulting in smoother, quieter, and more powerful operation. Manufactured from premium 20CrMnTi alloy steel, these gears are the industry standard for high-speed, heavy-duty gearboxes and automotive transmissions.
Material (20CrMnTi): This low-carbon alloy steel is renowned for its excellent hardenability and toughness. After carburizing and quenching, it achieves a high surface hardness (HRC 58-62) while maintaining a resilient core to withstand shock loads.
High Load Capacity: The helical tooth design increases the contact ratio (the number of teeth in mesh at any given time), allowing for significantly higher torque transmission compared to spur gears of the same size.
Silent & Smooth Transmission: The gradual engagement of teeth eliminates the "clattering" noise associated with straight gears, making these ideal for high-speed applications where NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) control is critical.
Reduced Stress: The angled teeth distribute the load more evenly across the tooth surface, reducing localized stress and extending the fatigue life of the gear.
Precision Finishing: We offer ground teeth (DIN 5-7 / AGMA 11-13) to ensure minimal friction and maximum mechanical efficiency.
These gears are widely utilized in parallel-shaft gearboxes across various sectors:
Automotive Transmissions: Main drive gears for manual and automatic gearboxes to ensure quiet cabin environments.
Industrial Reducers: High-torque parallel-shaft speed reducers used in conveyors and factory automation.
Renewable Energy: Step-up gearboxes in wind turbines and solar tracking systems.
Construction Machinery: Heavy-duty transmission systems for cranes, rollers, and pavers.
Power Tools: Precision helical gears for high-RPM hand tools to reduce vibration.
Forging & Normalizing: Ensures a uniform grain structure for the 20CrMnTi steel.
Gear Hobbing/Shaping: Precise cutting of the helix angle and tooth profile.
Carburizing Heat Treatment: Creating a wear-resistant "case" while keeping the core tough.
Gear Grinding: High-precision CNC grinding to achieve the final involute profile and accuracy grade.
Inspection: Every batch undergoes Lead & Profile Testing, CMM measurements, and hardness verification.
